"KRDO ND moves to KKTV?"
3/20/08: WARNING - Rumor until confirmed -
A station by any other name, still smells as sweet? That is the question I
am pondering after getting a "Got a tip?" form tip letting me know that Dave
Rose, former KRDO News Director who recently either left or was asked to leave
that station (depending on which story you believe), may be over at KKTV 11 News
now.
If this rumor is true, and Rose is going to be a
regular at KKTV, I wonder what position he will be filling? Since 11 News
recently let six or more go, I'm guessing their budget may have been freed up
enough to make Dave Rose an offer.
After-all, he has been a news fixture in this
community for a long while, so KKTV would be lucky to get him. It is
definitely KRDO's loss...
Anyone have any additional 411?
