2005 Veterans Day Parade
Even though big fat snow flakes filled the sky early Saturday morning, the weather cooperated with a quick melt... allowing the 2005 Veterans Day Parade to fascinate young and old as it made it's way down Tejon. This year's theme was World War II, and many of that war's fighters were participants in the parade. Those who lived in the Acacia Hotel, across from Acacia Park, were loaded into their parade vehicle in front of the hotel. They proudly sat up straight as they rode, waving to the cheering crowds that had arrived to greet them. Here are a few pics from the parade...
