Miss Edna may be gone, but not forgotten
A small group attended Friday's memorial for Miss Edna, a colorful local character who was often seen walking the area, and attending important functions. Miss Edna had no real title, no great wealth, and no political influence, but many opened their heart to her. Her sister Violet, now 85, arrived with old photographs that she shared with attendees, along with many memories of her sister. The memorial was held in the Old Colorado City Historic Center.
