After graveside services are complete, friends and family of Thomas Kinslow, who was shot and killed on Constitution Ave early last Tuesday morning , prepare to depart the cemetery grounds. Thomas was put to rest in Evergreen Cemetery on Tuesday, at the age of 20. For the moment he will rest in an unmarked grave, but one that I'm sure will receive frequent visits from those who mourn his loss.
Police have not yet made any arrests in this homicide, but the investigation is still on-going.

| The Colorado Springs Police Departments Major Crimes Unit
continues to investigate the kidnapping of Carlos Ornelas from
November 25, 2005. The photographs of the 3 suspects who are
currently in custody on First Degree Kidnapping charges along
with the suspect who is still at large will accompany this
release.
The three suspects currently in custody are Luis Lopez-Gamez, a 21 year old Hispanic Male, Anthony Michael Hanes, an 18 year old white male and his brother Bradley Michael Hanes, a 28 year old white male. All three of these suspects are currently being held in the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center. The suspect who remains at large is 26 year old Fredy Cesary Lopez-Gamez. Mr. Lopez-Gamez is currently wanted on the charge of First Degree Kidnapping. Mr. Lopez-Gamez should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information as to his whereabouts should contact the Colorado Springs Police Department at 444-7000 or they may remain anonymous and call Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP. For additional information, please contact Sergeant Sal Fiorillo of the Major Crimes Unit at 444-7613. |
